　　Q: Please share your inspiration for “Ten Thousand Mountains and Rivers”.

Answer: My creative inspiration comes from my deep understanding of “reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles”. I personally love traveling. Self-driving travel gives me the opportunity to experience the culture of different regions first-hand. This intuitive cultural experience is more shocking and real than the knowledge in books. Through this song, I hope to combine the depth of reading with the breadth of travel, conveying that reading is not only the accumulation of knowledge, but also an experience of life and a spiritual journey. At the same time, I also hope to convey a return to nature through music. In this fast-paced era, we should calm down and slowly appreciate the unique feelings and profound thoughts brought by paper books.

　Q: You skillfully combine traditional Chinese opera and modern pop music in your songs. Where did the inspiration for this innovation come from?

Answer: From observation of contemporary youth culture trends. I noticed that unlike the blind pursuit of foreign culture in the past, modern young people have begun to return and look for the cultural essence rooted in our blood. Traditional opera has inspired a strong sense of cultural consciousness and pride. I want to show this combination of tradition and modernity through music, not only as inheritance, but also as an expression of cultural confidence. Opera is not only the root of Chinese culture, but also the soul of music. I hope that through “Ten Thousand Mountains and Rivers” this inheritance and confidence can be passed down from generation to generation in a way that is more acceptable to modern people.

　　Q: How do you view the role of music and reading in cultural inheritance?

Answer: Music and reading are important carriers of cultural inheritance. As a borderless language, music can transcend language and cultural barriers and directly touch people’s hearts. Reading can broaden horizons, increase knowledge, and stimulate thinking. “Ten Thousand Mountains and Rivers” is the product of the combination of music and reading. It conveys the concept of reading and the spirit of culture through the form of music.

Culture is the root of our nation and the soul of our spirit. I am willing to invest in it and work hard for it. Because I believe that the power of culture is infinite. It can stimulate people’s potential and enhance their spiritual realm.

　　Q: Will you continue to explore and promote modern expressions of traditional Chinese culture in the future?

Answer: “Ten Thousand Rolls of Mountains and Rivers” is my attempt to express the modern expression of Chinese culture. I hope that through such works, traditional culture can revitalize new vitality in modern society. In the future, I will continue to incorporate more Chinese elements into my music creation, and continue to explore and try new music forms and expressions, so that more people can feel the charm of Chinese culture through my music. I also hope to cooperate with more art groups to push the modern expression of Chinese culture to a new level through diversified art forms.

Answer: Yes, the singers are carefully selected by me. Teacher He Shu is a national first-class actor with profound artistic attainments and rich singing experience. Her voice is full of traditional charm and appeal. As a new generation singer, Shi Jinyang’s voice is fresh and natural, full of modern flavor and vitality. The collaboration between the two has both traditional charm and modern feel, artistic depth and popular breadth. I think this combination is very successful and adds a lot to the song.
