[The Epoch Times, April 26, 2024](The Epoch Times reporter Zhang Peier reported in Cambridge) On the afternoon of April 20, the Greater Boston Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in New England invited financial planner Su Hongchang (CFP) to hold a meeting in Cambridge. “Financial Management Made Easy” series of lectures. This lecture is sponsored by “Main Street Home Loan” and aims to help Chinese immigrants better understand and plan their personal finances in the United States.

At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, the conference room was packed. Su Hongchang’s wonderful speech attracted audiences from different industries and backgrounds. Before the lecture began, he introduced the main content of this series of lectures to everyone. He emphasized that managing money is not to become a miser, but to make the family happier and healthier.

In his speech, Su Hongchang explained the importance of financial management and how to start financial planning in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. He mentioned that financial management is not limited to investment, but a comprehensive system including risk management, insurance and tax planning. He emphasized the importance of starting financial planning early, and also mentioned that cash reserves must not be used for investment when testing the family’s financial situation.

Peng Shengxiang, the public relations officer of the Greater Boston Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, hosted the lecture. He is the founder of the “Home Boston Group” and is currently a real estate agent. The venue for the day was borrowed from the “Keller Williams” real estate company. Peng Shengxiang thanked “Main Street Home Loan” Qiu Minghui for sponsoring snacks and part of the funds.

President Wang Zhiwei said that food stalls will be set up on Newton Taiwan Day on May 4; after June, outdoor picnics and walking activities, entrepreneurship lectures, financial planning lectures, Taiwan and the United States biotechnology industry lectures, etc. will be held. ◇
