China Daily, Bangkok, April 25 (Reporter Yang Wanli) Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Han Zhiqiang and his wife Wang Huan were invited to attend the “Seeing China – Decoding China’s Excellent Traditional Cultural Genes” co-sponsored by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Bangkok Chinese Cultural Center on Wednesday. “Technology and Culture Exhibition. Science and technology empowers the protection and display of cultural relics, effectively promotes the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional cultural exhibitions, and creates new situations and new opportunities for cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and other countries around the world. This exhibition’s innovative display method opens up a new perspective for the Thai people to analyze the excellent traditional Chinese culture. China and Thailand have been friends for thousands of years, and their good-neighborly friendship has only grown stronger over time. At present, the relationship between the two countries has entered a new era of jointly building a China-Thailand community with a shared future. It is hoped that the educational, cultural, and scientific and technological institutions of the two countries will take active actions to carry out closer exchanges and cooperation and lay a more solid public opinion foundation for the construction of a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

Chairman Pini said that China’s excellent traditional culture has shaped the Chinese people’s outstanding qualities of diligence, bravery, and innovation, and provided important spiritual impetus for the development of Chinese-style modernization. The world-renowned achievements of Chinese-style modernization are the result of the Chinese people constantly drawing nutrients from China’s excellent traditional culture and seeking high-quality solutions for the governance of the country. To understand Chinese modernization, we must first understand Chinese culture. The “Seeing China” technology and culture exhibition provides opportunities for Thai audiences to learn about Chinese culture and social development through cultural relics, and will build a digital bridge to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

President Xu Kun pointed out that the “Seeing China” science and technology and culture exhibition is an innovative move by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications to promote exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations under the guidance of the Global Civilization Initiative. The exhibition carefully selects nearly 2,000 physical pictures and uses cutting-edge digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and naked-eye 3D to immersively display the unique charm of China’s excellent traditional culture to the Thai people. We look forward to playing a positive role in deepening mutual understanding and mutual understanding between the two peoples and promoting cultural, educational, scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
