China Weather Network reported that during the day today (April 24), there will be showers in parts of Hunan; from tonight to tomorrow, due to the influence of mid- and low-level shear and enhanced southwest warm and humid airflow, there will be heavy to heavy rain in central and southern Hunan, accompanied by heavy rain. There are strong convective weather conditions such as thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail, so please pay attention to precautions.
Live monitoring showed that yesterday, the whole province of Hunan was mainly cloudy and overcast, with showers or thundershowers occurring in western and southern Hunan. The highest temperature in northwestern Hunan was 28-30°C, and 25-27°C in other areas.
It will be cloudy in Changsha this morning.
According to the Hunan Provincial Meteorological Observatory, there will be light rain in parts of western and northern Hunan during the day today; from tonight to tomorrow, there will be a strong rainfall process in central and southern Hunan, and there may be local heavy rain to heavy rain; the day after tomorrow, except for southern Hunan, , most areas will turn to mainly cloudy to sunny skies again.
Specifically: today, there will be moderate to heavy rain in western Hunan and southern Hunan, local heavy rain in Yongzhou and Huaihua, and cloudy to light to moderate showers or thundershowers in other areas; southerly wind will turn northerly to level 2 to 3, and local gusts will be 8 to 8 during thunderstorms. Level 9; the highest temperature: 21~23℃ in northwest Hunan and 24~26℃ in other areas; the lowest temperature: 15~17℃ in western Hunan and 18~20℃ in other areas.
Tomorrow, there will be moderate to heavy rain in parts of eastern and southern Hunan. There will be local heavy rain in central and southern Zhuzhou and northeastern Chenzhou. There will be local heavy rain in Zhuzhou. In other areas, light to moderate showers or thundershowers will become cloudy; northerly winds will be level 2 to 3, and thunderstorms will occur. The current local wind gust level is 8 to 9; the highest temperature: 26 to 28°C in southern Hunan, 23 to 25°C in central Hunan, and 21 to 23°C in northern Hunan; the lowest temperature: 14 to 16°C in western Hunan and 18 to 20°C in other areas.
The day after tomorrow, showers will turn to cloudy in western Hunan and southern Hunan, and cloudy to sunny in other areas; north wind level 2 to 3; highest temperature: 26 to 28°C in the north of central Hunan, 24 to 26°C in other areas; lowest temperature: 15 to 17°C in western Hunan, In other areas, the temperature is 18~20℃.
Meteorological experts reminded that from tonight, central and southern Hunan will be hit by heavy rainfall again, and the public should pay attention to prevent secondary disasters such as flash floods and geological disasters that may be caused by superimposed rainfall.
