Barbados is rich in sugar cane and relies heavily on imported food and vegetables. In 2021, Hunan and Barbados signed a memorandum of agricultural cooperation to launch a series of practical cooperation around vegetable planting and upland rice planting. On the 21st, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of Hunan’s agricultural vegetable greenhouse and upland rice planting projects aided by Pakistan. The rainy season has just entered.
