This exhibition displays the oil paintings of Zhu Chunlin, the director of the Oil Painting Institute of the China Academy of Art, covering three genres: landscape, still life and figure. The reason why it is held at the Yichun Art Museum in Jiangxi Province is, firstly, the museum’s new role in the Chinese art museum world. The second reason is that most of these works are the works of Zhu Chunlin who went to various places in Jiangxi to sketch on-site 9 times over a period of 7 years from 2017 to 2024. Zhu Chunlin’s footprints mainly cover Wuyuan, Guangfeng, Yushan, Yiyang in Shangrao, Lichuan in Fuzhou, Yudu in Ganzhou, Yaoli in Jingdezhen, and the junction of the four provinces of Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian and Anhui. In the past seven years, many great changes have taken place in the human community and Zhu Chunlin himself, but he has always faced the impermanent situation with a sense of permanence, and used his artistic practice to experience the peace and eternity of life, inspiring many people. Get out of a state of confusion. It is precisely this calm experience and positive observation of the impermanence of reality that Zhu Chunlin’s works show true spiritual penetration and have extraordinary ideological depth.

　　
Zhu Chunlin, born in Tongcheng, Anhui in 1968, graduated from the stage art major of Anhui Huangmei Opera School in 1988, and graduated from the oil painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1992. He is currently the dean of the Oil Painting School of the China Academy of Arts, a doctoral supervisor, and a director of the Chinese Oil Painting Society.
