This “beautiful host” is now 36 years old. She is a college graduate from Henan and originally worked in a technology company.
The article said that when Dong Yunhu served as the Minister of Propaganda of Tibet, she frequently appeared in Tibet; Dong Yunhu served as the Minister of Propaganda of Shanghai, and she entered the Shanghai Radio and Television Station as a host; Dong served as the Chairman of the Shanghai CPPCC, and she became a member of the CPPCC. Without a strong background, it is difficult to imagine that it can “stand out” in Shanghai.
The day after Dong Yunhu was dismissed, on July 13, 2023, Cheng Feng (51 years old), chairman of The Paper Group and deputy general manager of Shanghai Media Group, was investigated.
Both Dong Yunhu and Cheng Feng have worked in the Shanghai propaganda system for many years. Dong Yunhu served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the Propaganda Department from 2015 to 2018, and was Cheng Feng’s immediate boss.
Since the end of 2022, three senior officials in the Shanghai propaganda system have been dismissed, including Dong Yunhu and Cheng Feng.
On November 18, 2022, Xu Shiping, the former deputy party secretary, president and editor-in-chief of Shanghai Oriental Net Co., Ltd., who had retired for more than two years, was investigated. On June 13 of the same year, Xu Shiping was double fired.
Xu Shiping, 63, is a senior Chinese media person with a Jiang faction background. He has a close relationship with Yang Xiong, the former mayor of Shanghai, who is considered a confidant of Jiang Mianheng, the son of former CCP leader Jiang Zemin.
There are rumors that Dong Yunhu is being investigated and related to Xu Shiping.
