If Snapdragon X Elite is compared with Intel’s new Core Ultra 9 series processors, Snapdragon X Plus is compared with the Core Ultra 7 series. It can also support 45TOPS of artificial intelligence computing performance through the Hexagon NPU, with a total cache memory of 42MB.

According to data released by Qualcomm, the computing performance of the Snapdragon X Plus processor will be 37% faster than the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, and 10% faster than Apple’s M3 processor.

As for commercially available products using Snapdragon X Plus processors, they will be launched in the second half of this year, but specific cooperative brands have not yet been announced. According to Microsoft’s announcement that the performance of an AI PC that can run Copilot artificial intelligence services offline must be above 45 TOPS, the two processors Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus launched by Qualcomm both meet the requirements.

In addition to announcing the Snapdragon X Plus processor this time, Qualcomm also announced on its official website that Snapdragon X Elite will launch three basic specifications, namely X1E-84-100, – 100 is the highest-end version, corresponding to an operating clock of 3.8GHz and equipped with a dual-core 4.2GHz Core Boost design. The X1E-80-100 reduces the operating clock to 3.4GHz and is equipped with a dual-core 4.0GHz Core Boost design.

The X1E-78-100 is similar to the Snapdragon X Plus (X1P-64-100). The operating clock is the same at 3.4GHz and does not have a dual-core Core Boost design. The main difference lies in the number of CPU cores.
