Investing.com – U.S. stock index futures rose slightly before the market opened on Thursday (9th). The S&P set a record for the longest consecutive rise since November 2021. Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ) fell 5.9% after its fiscal third-quarter sales outlook fell short of expectations.

Affirm (NASDAQ: ) soared 12% as losses narrowed in its latest quarter while revenue beat expectations.

Twilio (NYSE: ) rose 5% after the company forecast higher-than-expected fourth-quarter profit as its active customer accounts grew.

AMC Entertainment (NYSE: ) rose 2.6% after its third-quarter revenue beat expectations on the back of the popularity of its “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” movies.

Cryptocurrency concept stocks rose, rising 4.4% to $36,951.4, a new high since May last year. Marathon Patent (NASDAQ:) rose 9.2%, Riot Blockchain (NASDAQ:) rose 6%, Bit Digital Inc (NASDAQ:) rose 5%, Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ:) rose 3.6%, MicroStrategy Inc (NASDAQ:) rose 4 %, Canaan Technology (NASDAQ:) rose 6%, and The9 City (NASDAQ:) rose 2.9%. Meanwhile, the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (NYSE: ) rose 3.7%.

Tesla (NASDAQ: ) rose 0.94%.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ: ) fell 0.30%. Netflix (NASDAQ:) rose 0.59%, Microsoft (NASDAQ:) rose 0.11%, Amazon (NASDAQ:) fell 0.02%, Google parent company Alphabet (NASDAQ:) fell 0.02%, and Facebook parent company Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:) rose 0.07%.

The China Internet ETF KraneShares CSI China Internet (NYSE: ) fell 0.33%.

Li Auto (NASDAQ:) (HK:) rose 2.4%. According to Huajian, Li Auto’s third-quarter revenue nearly tripled, with both revenue and profit exceeding market expectations. Financial report data shows that Li Auto’s third-quarter revenue was 34.68 billion yuan, which was better than market expectations of 33.641 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 271.2% and a month-on-month increase of 21%. In terms of net profit, Li Auto’s operating profit in the third quarter was 2.339 billion yuan, a month-on-month increase of 43.9%; net profit was 2.813 billion yuan, turning a loss into a profit year-on-year, which was better than market expectations of 2.375 billion yuan, a month-on-month increase of 21.8%.
