The 2023 Asia-Pacific Outstanding Enterprise Awards were recently held in Singapore, aiming to commend companies and leaders who have seized business opportunities in the regional economic recovery and performed outstandingly in business development. This prestigious corporate award in Asia highlights the resilience, innovation and unwavering commitment of Asian businesses and leaders in facing the unprecedented challenges posed by the pandemic.
Since 2007, the award has spread to 16 countries/markets in Asia. Previous winners include Xu Rongmao from China World Trade Group, Xu Xudong from Taiwan, Lui Yaodong and Lawrence Ho from Hong Kong, Dang Van Thanh from TTC in Vietnam, Somphote Ahunai from Thailand, Malaysia Cuckoo’s Xu Jianchuan, Indonesia’s Hary Tanoesoedibjo and Mochtar Riady, India’s Adi Godrej and Philippines’ Dennis Anthony Uy.
All winners this year were selected from more than 150 nominees by a panel of well-known judges through a rigorous evaluation process, covering four categories: Outstanding Corporate Leadership Award, Corporate Leap Award, and Outstanding Inspirational Brand Award. , and the Excellence in Business Management Award.
In his speech at the award ceremony, Zeng Liji, President of the Asian Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, said that Asia’s market value will reach US$31 trillion in 2023, which not only reflects its huge economic potential, but also demonstrates Asia’s excellence and diversity in the global market. Recipients of the Outstanding Corporate Leadership Award include Datuk Seri (Dr.) Subramaniam Pillai, founder and group executive director of Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia) Sdn Berhad, Malaysia; Chairman and CEO of Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center Group of Companies, Philippines Dr. Steve Mark Gan. Their outstanding leadership has not only achieved extraordinary success in their respective fields, but also made great contributions to Asia’s economic development and prosperity.
The winners of the Enterprise Leap Award are from Hong Kong’s Gogochart Technology Limited and Singapore’s Iso Tank Management Pte. Ltd.; the winners of the Outstanding Inspirational Brand Award include Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation from the Philippines; the Government Housing Bank of Thailand is the Outstanding Corporate Management Award award-winning companies.
In the morning of the same day, the Asian Enterprise Chamber also held the 2023 Asian Economic Forum with the theme of “Capturing Opportunities In A Resurgent Asia” to jointly discuss the global economy and shape new growth areas and opportunities for enterprises. This forum was attended and participated by more than 300 business leaders and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc.
