On October 27, Li Keqiang was announced to have died suddenly by the CCP; 10 days have passed and his funeral has been completed, but the mystery remains unsolved. Most people do not believe that Li Keqiang died of a heart attack and that rescue efforts failed, but it is difficult to obtain evidence that Li Keqiang was murdered. Therefore, analyzing who may be the beneficiaries has become another method.
People do not accept the cause of Li Keqiang’s death disclosed by the CCP
The CCP claimed that Li Keqiang suffered a sudden heart attack on October 26. After all-out efforts to rescue him failed, he died in Shanghai at 0:10 on October 27.
Many people find it unbelievable. Li Keqiang died suddenly at the age of 68 just a few months after his retirement. Even for an ordinary person, he died early. Moreover, he enjoyed the highest level of medical care. It is difficult for similar claims to stand.
The Chinese Communist Party announced that Li Keqiang died in Shanghai, saying that Li Keqiang had been resting in Shanghai recently. People will naturally ask, why did Li Keqiang go to Shanghai to rest? Li Keqiang should have stayed in Beijing, or he could have returned to his hometown of Hefei, Anhui; if he wanted to have a cat winter, he should have gone to Guangdong, Hainan and other places. If going to Shanghai was not his original intention, then who had to arrange for him to go to Shanghai?
When Li Keqiang appeared at the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang at the end of August, he seemed to be in good shape and state of mind. His sudden death more than two months later was considered illogical by the outside world.
Some medical experts said that regarding the treatment and rescue of heart disease, retired senior officials of the Chinese Communist Party enjoy prevention and treatment tools that are in sync with the world, and cannot explain why rescue is ineffective.
It was revealed that Li Keqiang suffered a heart attack while swimming at a hotel in the eastern suburbs of Shanghai. He was sent to Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is not good at treating heart disease, but was not sent to Shuguang Hospital, which is ranked among the top three in the country in cardiovascular disease treatment technology. Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital.
The Shanghai Dongjiao Hotel where Li Keqiang lives is known as the “Diaoyutai” of Shanghai and is managed by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee. When Li Keqiang comes here, the health care team should follow him here. The hotel’s own medical team and equipment should also exceed that of most hospitals. If it is really necessary to send the patient to a local hospital, there should be a plan in advance and he will not be sent to the nearest hospital casually.
The leaders of the CCP at the national level cannot be approached and treated by any hospital or doctor. Shanghai may not have an institution similar to Beijing’s 301 Hospital, but there should have been hospitals and wards designated by the CCP leaders, as well as designated medical teams that have undergone strict political review. The process of sending Li Keqiang to the hospital may have violated the general treatment procedures of CCP leaders. Who issued such an order?
On October 30, an open letter written by Gu Wanming, a veteran Xinhua News Agency reporter, “Find out the cause of Li Keqiang’s death and give an explanation to the people across the country” went viral. The open letter demands that arrangements for the cremation of the body be stopped, an autopsy be conducted, the entire treatment process be thoroughly investigated, and the entire situation be made public. The open letter stated that Li Keqiang arrived in Shanghai to “rest” on October 25 and was announced to have died suddenly on the 27th. Many facts were not made clear and there may be serious problems.
On October 31, former CCP Navy Lieutenant Colonel Yao Cheng revealed that he lost contact with Li Keqiang after he appeared in Dunhuang on August 31. Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, his family had invited him to come to Hefei through Li’s secretary to celebrate the festival, but nothing happened.
Recent information shows that Li Keqiang had a physical examination the day before his death, making the mystery even greater. There are currently no answers to these questions. Li Keqiang has been cremated and the direct evidence has been disappeared. People can only analyze the possible beneficiaries of Li Keqiang’s death and continue to search for the truth.
Is Xi Jinping the biggest beneficiary?
With Li Keqiang’s death, Xi Jinping was undoubtedly the one to bear the greatest pressure from public opinion, because Xi Jinping seemed to have benefited the most. It has been said for a long time that Xi and Li are not in harmony. At the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Li Keqiang and Wang Yang resigned, Hu Chunhua lost his title as a member of the Politburo, and Hu Jintao was escorted from the venue, which showed that Xi Jiajun was afraid of the Youth League faction.
Xi Jinping would rather compromise with Jiang and the Zeng faction, allowing the “two-faced men” Wang Huning and Zhao Leji to remain on the Standing Committee, and let Han Zheng from the Shanghai Gang take over as Vice Chairman of the CCP, rather than wanting Li Keqiang to remain on the table. After Jiang Zemin’s death, the original Jiang faction almost collapsed; the Tuan faction that seems to be missing behind Li Keqiang is considered to be Xi Jinping’s biggest threat.
After Li Keqiang’s death, the Tuanpai faction almost disappeared, and it seems that no one within the CCP can replace Xi Jinping. In this sense, Xi Jinping is indeed the biggest beneficiary, and public opinion is more directed at Xi Jinping.
In order to calm public opinion, the CCP deliberately simplified Li Keqiang’s funeral ceremony. It did not dare to forcibly ban private mourning activities, but adopted both soft and hard restrictions. This was supposed to be a decision made at the Politburo meeting of the Communist Party of China on October 27. Li Keqiang’s body was sent back to Beijing that day, but members of the Politburo were in Zhongnanhai all day and no one went to the airport to greet him.
People laid flowers to commemorate Li Keqiang’s former residence in Hefei, Anhui, his ancestral home in Dingyuan, Chuzhou, Anhui, and other places. The CCP did not forcibly stop them, but sent security personnel in disguise to the scene to urge people to leave. The sea of flowers formed by people’s flowers was emptied overnight. It was revealed that 3 million people in Anhui participated in laying flowers and mourning, and the central government severely criticized the Anhui Provincial Party Committee.
The relevant notice exposed on the Internet stated, “All units must express their condolences in accordance with the unified funeral and mourning arrangements of the Party Central Committee, and must never allow voices that are different from those of the Central Committee. Each unit must manage its own people and manage its own affairs. positions, especially the online words and deeds of retired cadres and employees.”
This can easily make people feel as if the top leaders of the CCP know they are wrong and want to cover up something, which further intensifies public opinion’s suspicion.
On November 2, high-level officials of the Communist Party of China went to Babaoshan to pay homage to Li Keqiang. Footage of Xi Jinping shaking hands with Li Keqiang’s widow Cheng Hong also attracted attention from the outside world. The two looked at each other briefly as they shook hands, then each turned their faces to the side. What people saw was not just perfunctory, but also a vague sense of some invisible hostility, at least a dislike of each other. When Cheng Hong shook hands with other senior CCP officials, they looked at each other politely and talked briefly.
On November 2, Xinhua News Agency reported that it seemed to want to break this embarrassment, saying that during Li Keqiang’s “rescue period and after his death,” Xi Jinping, Li Qiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, Han Zheng, Hu Jintao and others “went to He expressed deep condolences for Li Keqiang’s death and expressed deep condolences to his relatives.
However, they probably did not have time to visit Li Keqiang in the hospital, and the report did not disclose how they expressed their condolences or condolences.
After November 2, Li Keqiang’s case was overturned by the CCP, but doubts from the outside world continued. Xi Jinping seems to be the biggest beneficiary of Li Keqiang’s death; but it also brings unpredictable risks to the CCP’s political situation and Xi Jinping himself.
Possible beneficiaries of other factions
Li Keqiang’s death is a double-edged sword for Xi Jinping. The perceived major threat has been eliminated, but it can also easily lead to Xi Jinping becoming the target of thousands of people. So is there anyone else who might benefit from this?
After Li Keqiang’s death, the Japanese media once again received internal revelations, claiming that Zeng Qinghong and others’ attacks on Xi Jinping during Beidaihe represented Li Keqiang’s intentions. They also said that if Xi Jinping was removed from power, Li Keqiang was considered to be the candidate to replace him.
The triangular infighting between the Xi faction, the Tuan faction, and the Jiang faction was once again nakedly displayed. This should be Zeng Qinghong and others taking advantage of Li Keqiang’s death to cause trouble for Xi Jinping again, which directly reflects that Xi Jinping harmed Li Keqiang. However, many previous similar revelations by Japanese media did not mention Li Keqiang, the most prominent one was Zeng Qinghong.
Before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, there were rumors that Hu Jintao, together with the CCP elders, took control of the military and controlled Xi Jinping after he returned from a foreign visit. This should also be caused by Zeng Qinghong and others deliberately provoking conflicts, and also includes the earlier rumors that Xi replaced Li Shang and Wang Yang was transferred to the premier of the State Council. Zeng Qinghong wanted to be the leader of the anti-Xi faction, but he no longer had the strength and could only sow discord.
After Li Keqiang’s death, are Zeng Qinghong and other former retired senior officials from the Jiang faction considered beneficiaries?
They probably want Xi Jinping to fall, but they probably don’t want Li Keqiang to rise. They would rather support someone who can work with them. They know that retired Li Keqiang poses limited threat to Xi Jinping, so Li Keqiang did not originally appear in the rumors about Beidaihe; after Li Keqiang’s death, he suddenly became the protagonist of the rumors.
If Zeng Qinghong and others caused Li Keqiang’s sudden death and put the blame on Xi Jinping, there should be greater manipulation of public opinion and even inciting people to take to the streets. We have not seen it yet. Li Keqiang’s death has put pressure on Xi Jinping, but Zeng Qinghong and others may not really benefit. Now they have become the only remaining opponent of the Xi faction. If Zeng Qinghong and others were to expose the matter in the future, at least they would have lost some seasoning; not to mention that Zeng Qinghong and others probably did not have the ability to assassinate Li Keqiang, and did not even know that Li Keqiang had arrived in Shanghai. If Zeng Qinghong and others actually assassinate Li Keqiang, it will also threaten Xi Jinping’s safety, and they may be killed.
The “overseas hostile forces” as the CCP often calls them regard Li Keqiang as a supporter of reform and opening up. Neither China nor the Chinese people will benefit from Li Keqiang’s death. Instead, they are completely disappointed. Among the originally loose-knit Youth League faction, no one could be thought of who might benefit from Li Keqiang’s death. The original Jiang faction is unlikely to benefit either. The broader, looser anti-Xi faction, which should hope Li Keqiang is given the chance to return, will also not benefit. Then, the likely beneficiaries are back to the Xi faction.
If Xi Jinping did not order it himself, or if he did not really know about it, who among the Xi faction would do it privately?
People in the Xi faction who might benefit
There were about four people or four groups of people around Xi Jinping who had the conditions to order the assassination of Li Keqiang.
Cai Qi is the director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, and the Shanghai Dongjiao Hotel is under his jurisdiction. The security and health personnel who accompanied Li Keqiang to Shanghai should have been secretly arranged by Cai Qi or his subordinates. The team that nominally protects and serves Li Keqiang is most likely to be suspected; but they dare not act on their own and must receive direct orders.
Wang Xiaohong is the Minister of Public Security. In July this year, he ceased to serve as the Director of the Secret Service Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. His subordinates should be equipped to assassinate Li Keqiang.
Chen Yixin is the Minister of National Security. He has a large number of secret intelligence agents under his command, and he is also capable of assassinating Li Keqiang.
The Chinese Communist Party has a private secret service within the army, which is also equipped to carry out assassination missions.
On the surface, it seems that the above four people or four groups of people cannot directly benefit from this matter; if they carry out assassinations in private without Xi Jinping’s order, they will still face certain risks. However, these people are Xi Jinping’s confidants, and they may think that they are sharing Xi Jinping’s worries by doing so; without going through Xi Jinping, it can be said that it has nothing to do with Xi Jinping.
They know that Xi Jinping wants to decipher the predictions of coups and assassinations. The “Push Back Picture” warns that a person with a “bow” will attack Xi Jinping. Li Keqiang is regarded as a threat, and there is also a “bow” in his name. Xi Jinping’s cronies may have plotted against Li Keqiang and used it to claim credit in order to gain a higher status.
At the same time, by doing this, the Xi faction can blame all economic problems on Li Keqiang without any scruples; it can also send a warning to political opponents.
Of course, another, more sinister possibility cannot be ruled out, that is, Xi Jinping’s cronies are not actually loyal. They played dirty tricks on Li Keqiang, ostensibly removing the threat to Xi Jinping, but actually trying to cause chaos. The affairs of Qin Gang and Li Shangfu have already made Xi Jinping very worried. Li Keqiang has another accident at a sensitive moment. There may be an even greater chaos. The careerists around Xi Jinping will have the opportunity to replace Xi Jinping and rise to the top in one step.
If this is the case, the prediction may come true, and the CCP’s next step in chaos will be doomed.
