Wuzhen World Internet Science and Technology Museum is located in the north of the town and east of Wuzhen Internet International Convention and Exhibition Center, close to the Light of Internet Expo Center. It is the world’s first large-scale science and technology museum with the theme of the Internet. The exhibition area of the museum is 7,000 square meters, displaying key global Internet technologies, landmark events, and important figures, outlining the development process of the Internet, and establishing a “global common platform for Internet innovation”, “the Internet supports the path of digital development”, and “the Internet shapes human digital civilization” There are six permanent exhibition areas: “The Internet connects everything in the sky, earth and sea”, “The Internet promotes digital technology innovation” and “The Internet condenses the common destiny of mankind”. The museum displays a total of more than 130 precious exhibits in the Internet field, including the world’s first graphical interface computer Lisa computer, China’s first router, and the first domain name server.
This year marks the tenth year of the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference. The 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit will be held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang from November 8th to 10th. The theme is “Building an inclusive, universally beneficial, and resilient digital world-Working together to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace.”
