The “Digital Yangtze River Delta Development Report (2023)” released at the conference pointed out that the development level of the Yangtze River Delta’s digital economy has led the country. In 2022, the scale of the digital economy will account for nearly 30% of the total scale of the national digital economy, and the scale of the integrated circuit and artificial intelligence industries will account for 1% of the country’s total. In the ten years after “connecting to the Internet”, the added value of the core industries of the digital economy in Jiaxing City, where Wuzhen is located, has grown at an average annual rate of 16.5%. In recent years, focusing on the common goal of building a “digital Yangtze River Delta”, cities in the Yangtze River Delta have vigorously promoted the construction of digital infrastructure, digital technology, digital industry, digital society, and digital government, and a series of new digital scenarios have continued to emerge. Typical application scenarios of the digital Yangtze River Delta were promoted at the meeting. At the conference, 16 important node cities in the construction of the digital Yangtze River Delta jointly initiated the establishment of the “Wuzhen Dialogue” cooperation mechanism for jointly building digital civilization in the Yangtze River Delta. Based on the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference, we will create open and shared exchanges and cooperation among the Yangtze River Delta city clusters.
