The promise of sea and land meets Chongqing | Taking the “road” as the guide and walking with the “Tao”, Chongqing Changshou runs out of the “acceleration” of the connected world

--

China Daily, November 9 (Reporter Xu Dan) As an important hub node of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, an important port city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and the first production and service-oriented national logistics hub in Sichuan and Chongqing, Chongqing Changshou takes “road” as its guide, with highways, Railways and waterways run in parallel, running the “acceleration” of comprehensive three-dimensional transportation construction; walking with “roads”, channels, hubs, and networks are intertwined to promote the construction of a long-lived modern logistics system.

On November 9, the “Land-Sea Promise” national online media trip to Chongqing – the theme communication activity of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor went into Changshou and felt the development vitality of Changshou.

Relying on advantages to smooth the logistics “big channel”

It is understood that in the past ten years, Changshou’s transportation network has become denser and denser, and an interconnected infrastructure network has been built. Today, Changshou has drawn a three-dimensional transportation map that integrates into the construction of the New Land-Sea Corridor in the West.

According to reports, the Chongqing-Based Special Railway is the only special railway in Chongqing that is qualified for both the arrival and delivery of container dangerous goods, and is a public logistics platform for the railway transportation of hazardous chemicals in the Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone. The chemical terminal 10 kilometers away is the only hazardous chemicals container transport terminal in Chongqing. The Xinhengyang Terminal is also the liquid hazardous chemicals terminal with the largest loading and unloading capacity in the southwest. In addition, the railway and the terminal are connected through a pipe gallery.

“Relying on such unique advantages, Changshou proposed to build a comprehensive new chemical materials distribution center for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor.” According to the person in charge of Chongqing Yuba Logistics Co., Ltd., the distribution center mainly includes container loading and unloading operations areas, container supporting areas, warehousing The total investment in the tank farm and supporting facilities is expected to be approximately 600 million.

“In the past, we were only a supporting terminal serving enterprises in the Changshou Economic Development Zone. Now we are the only socialized public chemical terminal in Southwest China that is qualified to operate hazardous chemical containers.” Huang Zusi, deputy general manager of Chongqing Chemical Terminal Co., Ltd. said , the chemical terminal operates 3 berths, with an annual throughput capacity of nearly 1 million tons of liquid chemicals and 50,000 TEUs of containers. On average, more than 100 TEUs of goods enter and exit here every day; 2 special liquefaction berths are under construction, with a designed annual throughput capacity 3.1 million tons.

In order to unblock the “four-way” logistics channel, Changshou is accelerating the construction of the Chongqing-Yizhou high-speed railway to the east, and relying on the Chongqing-Huainan Railway to the south, it will regularly operate the Changshou-Qinzhou train of the Western Land-Sea Corridor to connect the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration. To the west, it relies on the Chongqing-Huaihua railway and highway network, connects with China-Europe freight trains, and integrates into the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle. To the north, we will vigorously promote the planning and construction of the Guangfu-Liuzhou and Changdianliang railways to form a major channel for freight exports from China Unicom to Liuzhou in the northwest.

Parallel radiation plays a multi-type linkage “combination punch”

Changshou actively leverages its advantages to carry out multi-modal transport construction of railway, highway, water and pipeline, and uses “combination boxing” to help build a multi-modal transport demonstration base in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

It is understood that since this year, the Chongqing-Based Special Railway and the chemical terminal have joined hands to carry out rail-water combined transportation, attracting cargo sources from northwest regions such as Gansu and Xinjiang, and currently sending 2,000 TEUs of cargo.

At the same time, Yuba Company continues to expand its “circle of friends”, joins hands with China Tongyun to think about solving the storage problem of hazardous chemicals, and upgrades rail-water intermodal transport into a rail-road-water intermodal transport platform for dangerous goods containers.

Today, Changshou District has established a multimodal transport system based on Changshou, serving Chongqing and radiating to the southwest and northwest.

In the future, Changshou District will accelerate the promotion of seamless connection, convenient change of equipment, and rapid transshipment, optimize the multimodal transportation organization plan with the production and service-oriented national logistics hub as the core, and vigorously develop water-water, iron-water, railway-road, public-water and other modes. Develop logistics services such as bulk-to-container consolidation and container consolidation.
