One of the students was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after graduating with a doctorate last year. After a few months of life, I was kicked out of the group chat by the mentor.

The Second Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University issued a notice in the early morning of the 8th, stating that the breast tumor central laboratory of the hospital was opened in 2009. In recent years, three people who have worked and studied in the laboratory of the Breast Cancer Center have contracted cancer, two of whom are now breast surgeons at the hospital; the other one is a researcher from outside the hospital and has returned to work in his original unit.
Among them, Huang, female, studied for a doctoral degree in the hospital from 2017 to 2022; after graduating from the doctorate in July 2022, she joined the breast surgery department of the hospital and engaged in clinical work.
