Lai Ching-te mentioned that the government is very concerned about and supports the development of the tailoring industry, especially Taiwan’s textile industry, which has also found its own way. According to statistics, there will be more than 4,500 textile and garment factories in Taiwan in 2022, providing more than 140,000 jobs, with a total output value It also exceeded 400 billion yuan (NT$, the same below) (approximately 12.9 billion U.S. dollars), and the trade surplus was as high as 157.1 billion yuan (approximately 5.07 billion U.S. dollars), contributing a lot to the country’s economic development.

Lai Qingde said that the government attaches great importance to technical and vocational education. Starting next year, high school vocational education will be free of tuition. At the same time, it will also improve technical and vocational school equipment and provide relevant subsidies for technical and vocational training so that students can acquire good skills; it will also expand technical and vocational education. Teachers, hiring experienced industry masters as industry masters to teach young students, these are the actions of the future government.
