The fragrance of sweet-scented osmanthus is strong in autumn, and the harvest season is full of fruits. On November 5, the 2023 Henan Province Secondary Vocational School Teachers’ Teaching Design and Exhibition Series Exchange Event was held at Zhengzhou Finance School. Nearly 200 secondary vocational school teachers from across the province participated in this event.

This event is hosted by the Henan Provincial Education Science Planning and Evaluation Institute, hosted by Zhengzhou Finance School, and co-organized by the Higher Education Press.

This exchange event will be held in two days. On November 5th, contestants will register, submit review materials, and participate in the pre-match briefing. At the pre-game briefing meeting, Song Ge, vice principal of Zhengzhou Finance School, explained the event process to the contestants. Yang Jinshuan, director of the Education and Teaching Research Office of Henan Institute of Educational Science Planning and Evaluation, explained the event from aspects such as teaching ability improvement and classroom ideological and political construction. With the great significance of the event, Teacher Zhu Lingyan, head of the Henan District of Higher Education Press, introduced the follow-up work arrangements for the event.

At the judging meeting held on November 6, Cheng Guanglin, director of the Henan Provincial Institute of Educational Science Planning and Evaluation, introduced the significance of the event in detail to the judges, and hoped that the judges would judge strictly, find highlights, summarize shortcomings, and promote vocational education teachers Ability improved rapidly; Yang Jinshuan, director of the Education and Teaching Research Office of the Provincial Institute of Educational Science Planning and Evaluation, explained the scoring rules and precautions to the judges in detail.

On the morning of November 6, the exchange event officially started. Nearly 200 participating teachers from 19 major categories competed in 8 competition venues simultaneously. The competition consisted of on-site lectures, information-based teaching method display, defense and other links. The entire process was fair, just and open. , achieving the purpose of mutual communication and mutual learning. Through fierce competition and the objective and fair judgment of the judges, 139 contestants won the first, second and third prizes respectively.

At the closing ceremony, Wang Shenpei, deputy director of the Henan Provincial Institute of Educational Science Planning and Evaluation, gave a concluding speech, emphasizing that secondary vocational teachers should keep pace with the times, delve deeply into teaching materials and curriculum standards, update teaching concepts, promote teaching through competition, and start from the source. to improve their own teaching capabilities, thus driving the steady improvement of the quality of vocational education in the province. Finally, Du Yaping, principal of Zhengzhou Finance School, announced the list of award-winning teachers for this exchange event, and the first-prize teacher representative came to the stage to receive the award.

As the organizer of this exchange event, Zhengzhou Finance School attaches great importance to it and actively carries out preparations for the event. It has convened multiple meetings with relevant staff to refine the preparations. After the competition, hundreds of contestants and expert judges from various cities in Henan Province were very satisfied with the beautiful and clean campus environment of the Finance School, the intense and orderly organizational work, and the warm and thoughtful service. At the same time, the contestants also expressed , through this exchange activity, I was once again exercised, and my teaching abilities, teaching concepts, teaching methods and information methods were updated and improved, and I gained a lot.
