Professor TANG Yao

Professor of Applied Economics

Peking University

Currently, he is an associate professor in the Department of Applied Economics, Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, and a researcher at the CITIC Reform and Development Research Foundation. Professor Tang Yao received a doctorate in economics from the University of British Columbia in Canada. From 2009 to 2017, he taught at Bowdoin College in the United States and obtained tenure. The main research directions are macroeconomics, international economics and Chinese corporate strategy.

Dr. TANG Yao is an associate professor in the department of applied economics, a research fellow at the CITIC Foundation for Reform and Development. He holds a PhD. in Economics from University of British Columbia in 2009. He was an associate professor from Bowdoin College in United States before he joined Guanghua. His research interests include monetary economics, international economics and carbon neutrality.
