Investing.com – Germany equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, Germany, it rose 0.86%, hitting a new high in the past month, while the index rose 0.80%, while the index rose 1.23%.
The best performers of the session were Infineon Technologies AG (ETR: ), which rose 9.43% or 2.88 points to trade at 33.49 at the close. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) rose 8.88% (ETR:) to end at 11.16; Zalando SE (ETR:) rose 3.08% (ETR:) to end at 24.13 in late trade.
The worst performing stocks on the session were HeidelbergCement (ETR:), which fell 1.84% (1.34 points) to settle at 71.46. Vonovia SE (ETR:) fell 1.79% or 0.45 points to end at 24.73 and E.ON SE (ETR:) was down 1.14% or 0.13 points to 11.30.
The top performers on the MDAX index were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:), which rose 5.15% to end at 31.23; Encavis AG (ETR:), which rose 3.62% to end at 14.03; SMA Solar Technology AG ( ETR:) rose 3.37% to close at 58.25.
The worst performing stocks were LEG Immobilien AG (ETR:) which fell 2.71% to close at 68.94 in late trade; United Internet AG (ETR:) fell 1.95% to close at 19.61; in addition, CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) fell 1.56 %, the closing price is 63.00.
The best performers on the Technology Index (TecDAX) were Infineon AG (ETR:), which rose 9.43% to end at 33.49; Nagarro SE (ETR:), which was up 4.20% to close at 80.60; SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:)
